DEBUT Grad Profiled in Jamaica Newspaper

Advanced Fashion Design DEBUT Graduate Francesca Lake is profiled in her hometown newspaper, The Gleaner, in Kingston, Jamaica. After studying at the University of West Indies and entering the workforce, she knew there was something missing. She researched schools in New York and Europe, but decided on FIDM. 

"Especially when I found out it is the alma mater of designers such as Monique Lhuillier and Leanne Marshall. And the weather helped, too," she told The Gleaner. Francesca has seen her designs featured on America's Next Top Model and she is currently an associate technical designer at TOBI. She also makes custom pieces in her spare time.
